Young Audiences' mission is to make the arts accessible and essential to every child, while at the same time providing employment and professional development for artists. We pursue our mission of arts accessibility and development by providing outstanding in-school and community-based educational arts programs, presented by professional artists in music, theatre, dance, visual and multi-disciplinary arts. We also manage and develop the state-wide Georgia Council for the Arts (www.arts-ga.com) /Young Audiences of Atlanta Artists-in-Education Residency Program in schools and community sites. Young Audiences of Atlanta is proud to be one of the 32 chapters in the national Young Audiences network (www.youngaudiences.org). That makes us part of this country's largest non-profit educational arts organization. But be assured that the local Young Audiences' Chapter is totally responsible for its own programming and funding. We know our audiences and respond accordingly.
