Our specialties:
Don’t be fooled by people who say they clean awnings! There is a right process to follow. If you choose poorly, you will be shortening the life of your awning investment. The cleaning process varies depending on the type of awning fabric material. Some awnings require special cleaning instructions to avoid damage. Others, use our regular cleaning solutions. All the products we use are specially formulated for awnings and canopies only. Our gentle, hand-clean process is the recommended method. Our products are manufacturer-approved and will not void your warranty. We DO NOT POWER WASH! This will cause damage to the awning. First by stripping sealer off the awning, leaving it exposed. Second by weakening the stitching and bond. In some cases you won’t see the damage immediately, but be certain the damage was done. Your awning will not last it’s warranted life, unless, the problem is fix quickly with our restoration cleaning prosess. A Regular Maintenance Program Is More Effective Than Infrequent, Haphazard Cleanings... Just as you wouldn't drive your car for a year without changing the oil, you shouldn't leave your awnings neglected and dirty for year's time. Preventative maintenance is vital for the protection of your awnings. If you wait until your awning looks really bad, you may have waited too long. Staining occurs when the usual list of suspects (pollution, dirt, bird droppings, mildew and other contaminants) are allowed to remain on the surface of an awning for an extended period of time. Left alone, the chemicals in these contaminants eventually cause the awning fabric to degrade. As it weakens, it becomes more and more prone to burning from the sun and eradicatesion of color. Professional cleaning will safely remove these elements from your awnings. If caught in time. It DOES NOT stop there; you need to seal the awning too. Sealing the awning is more important than cleaning it. Why? When the awning is cleaned even with the right chemicals it is reducing the seal on the vinyl and the seal must be replaced. With out the seal the color will fad, dry, and stain quicker allowing damage to occur. Cleaner alone will leave the fabric unprotected, and will shorten the life of your awning dramatically. We use the highest quality seals and protectors for your awning on the market today. Plasticizer migration is the natural off gassing or drying of vinyl and plastics. This process cannot be stopped but it can be slowed down. The more slowly an awning loses its plasticizers the longer it will last and the better it will look. That is why it is important to replace some of the plasticizers after each cleaning. We do this to your awning with our Sealers and Protectants we carry.
