  • TAILORED ENERGY was formed in the late 1980's to calculate reports for Northern Californian drafters, designers and architects. These reports are now known as Title 24 reports and we now offer an online service covering the entire state. We specialize in Title 24 energy reports for new residential buildings and additions. We charge a flat fee of $100 (on buildings of up to 3,000 sq ft - see website). We also write Title 24 reports for multi-family and commercial buildings. To prepare a report for you, we will need: A dimensional floor plan showing all wall and window sizes. (A set of elevations and / or sections are useful but not an absolute requirement.) For a commercial building we will need a lighting plan too - or we can spec. if you prefer The exact sq ft of the building. A site plan showing north. The street address. Any preference for the water heater and or HVAC – we can spec. these if you prefer. Floor type – slab or raised. Wall size e.g. 2x4 or 2x6 Any preference for insulation values – or anything else also write Title 24 reports for multi-family and commercial buildings.
