Saska's Steak & Seafood, located just steps to Mission Beach, is famous for aged char-grilled steaks, fresh local seafood, late night dining with valet-parking, and sushi. As a family owned restaurant we are celebrating over 63 years in Mission Beach. Our father Joe relocated his young family from post-war Canonsburg, Pennsylvania to San Diego in 1945. His early career pursuits were as a milkman in East San Diego, a gas and grocery store owner in Grantville, and as a Mission Hills sundry store owner. In 1951, he decided to open a restaurant in this circa 1918 building with the simple idea of offering quality steaks and real Roquefort salad dressing to his customers. Today we proudly continue our father's traditional Saska techniques of preparing aged beef and quality seafood.
