    Our specialties:

  • OTOTO is the latest addition to the Sushi Den and Izakaya Den, a more casual ambience, raw bar and Robata grilled skewers, sashimi, grilled whole fish, and noodles as well as a premium sake list. While Izakaya is called Sushi Den's sister restaurant, OTOTO in Japanese means younger brother . Together they form a trifecta to honor Japanese cuisine on the Den Corner . Sample Menu Items: • Catch of the Day raw bar - selections served raw or grilled • Robata-style grilled fish and meat skewers / yakitori • Grilled whole fish and foie gras • Live sea urchin A robatayaki is shortened to just robata refers to a method of cooking, similar to barbecue, in which items of food on skewers are slow-grilled over hot charcoal - Binchotan charcoal. It is the informal Japanese drinking establishment that serves food to accompany the drinks. They are casual places for after-work drinking. Courses are served as the food is prepared and generally made for sharing . We refer to Izakaya Den, as our sister restaurant. The word Otōto in a northern Japanese dialect means younger brother and in the dialect of Osaka it means fish . Since our younger brother hand selects our Japanese fish from the fish market in southern Japan, for us this is the perfect name for our little brother restaurant.
