Our specialties:
Since the mid-1970s, The
Little Gym has been encouraging children's physical
fitness in life-changing and dazzlingly original ways. Founded by Robin Wes, a
musician, educator, and kinesiologist, the gym incorporates what they call a
three dimensional learning approach to kids' sports, kids'
gymnastics, and exercise in general. In doing so, they seek to emphasize the
importance of physical activity on the developing creative minds of children. The gym's three dimensional
concept encapsulates three core tenets: Get Moving (which
encourages physical stamina and coordination); Brain Boost (which
helps develop concentration, decision-making, and listening skills); and
Citizen Kid , which promotes a spirit of camaraderie, communication,
and teamwork. The result is a beautifully consolidated method that has been
studied and endorsed by Harvard researchers. The gym offers a range of classes designed to fit the needs
of a variety of age groups, from infants of 4 months to toddlers to older
children. It also offers an array of colorful and innovative camp
programs, including Super Kids' Quest Camp , which combines physical
activity with music, art and games. There's also Grade School Thrill
Camp for ages 6-12---a program that lives up to its name by putting kids
through an exciting, invigorating course of gymnastics. Wonder
Kids , an immersive educational/play session, is a concept the gym likes
to refer to as a three-hour exploration of [children's] innate
sense of wonder. In the two decades plus that the gym has been in operation,
it has helped enrich the lives of thousands of children and their parents.
Today, its influence is even internationally pervasive, spanning 300 locations
across the globe. To introduce your child to a wonderful combination of physical
fitness and sparkling creativity, call The Little Gym today at (206)
