We are a small town with a big heart. We are located in the geographic center of Hale County Texas, on Interstate 27. We have excellent schools, numerous churches, excellent medical and dental care, nice climate, pheasant hunting, cable television, and a radio station. We have a wonderful hospital and nursing home facility, as well as a modern dental clinic. Our beautification association continues to work to make Hale Center a pleasant and fun place to live. Our downtown area is recently remodeled and has numerous large murals painted on our buildings, to add to the esthetics of the city. We have our own water wells, with excellent tasting drinking water. Our area is rich in agricultural products, especially cotton, corn, soybeans, and sunflowers, as well as numerous vegetable and food products. Our town is filled with loving and friendly people.
