I recently obtained my great grandmother's death certificate, she had died in California in 1933, and on the record it shows that she was born in Sparta, White County, Tennessee. Her father was a Michell Henderson, that according to the Fed Census of Barry County, Missouri, that is where he and his wife ended up by the year 1860, was born in SC. His wife Martha was born in Virginia. They also had a son, John Henderson born in Tennessee, in the year 1848, as he was 32 in 1880 in Barry County, MO, also.
