Look for favors that are edible or reuseable – candies, personalized chocolates, gourmet carmel apples, wine bottle stoppers, bottle openers, measuring spoons, playing cards, etc. Our reception is at a local winery so we are giving wine and cheese baskets to our guests (there are snack and non-alcoholic beverage baskets available for the non-drinkers and underaged). The baskets have a personalized bottle of “our” wine, assorted artisan cheeses, crackers and gourmet chocolates. We also added a set of handblown glass grapes to each basket as an accent. The baskets are reuasable and the contents are edible so we are pleased. We ended up spending ~$ 10 per basket and we made 125 of them (one basket per couple and single) so we didn’t spend too much.
