Looking for any information about John Scott Cape and Lucinda Gordon Cape believed to have been in Shawneetown or Gallatin County around 1893. John was deceased by 1893 and Lucinda was ill according to Illinois Children's Home records. ORPHANED children included Sarah, Prudence, Richard and Anna Mae.
Any information about this family would be appreciated. My grandmother was Anna Mae and she and Prudence and Richard ended up in Kansas on the Orphan Train. Thanks for the help.
