Hello I am in hopes that some kind soul has some information on a James Harvey McFerrin and family who lived in Knox county TN.in the 1830s.Son William Adkins McFerrin was born in Knox county on May 8th 1835. wife name of James believed to be Sarah. other children were daughters Nancy Margaret,Elizabeth Jane, Suffa,and Charlotte who were believed to have been born in the county up till 1844 when family moved to Indiana.Any information would be such a help even info on the daughters. I do know that Elizabeth married a Isaac Newton Damewood and Charlotte married David Morgan,Nancy married Elvin Damewood and after his death married Daniel Duncan.
