Alzheimer's Community - Respite Care Daily Respite care offered in Assisted Living with secure Alzheimer's community in beauty valley setting. If you are the primary caretaker of an Alzheimer's patient and you need an occasional, shortterm, alternative solution to your caregiving arrangements - we can provide that solution for you. Many of our clients care for their loved one in their own home but need an occasional break from this 24-hour cycle of responsibility. There is no fee to register your loved one with us, you only need to provide us with a TB screen, a current medical history signed by your physician and basic client information that we keep on file and then IF you need our services due to an emergency - all you have to do is give us a 24 hour notice that you need to drop your family member by. Our current fee for this care is $70/24 hr period. We have plenty of room to stroll both indoors and out in a secure environment. There is a Beautiful waterfall on our manicured grounds that is the focal point of our summertime garden. We have a Nurse on duty 7 days per week. We provide Three homecooked meals plus two snacks daily. Medication administration can be arranged if required. We maintain a Certified Activity Director on staff. If you are the caretaker of a frail, elderly, dementia or Alzheimer's individual and you think a Nursing Home is your only option please contact us about qualifying for extended care in our community. Nursing Home care for an Alzheimer's patient is not covered by Medicare unless their is a medical condition present requiring skilled nursing care. Care in an Alzheimer's community is much less expensive, and much more secure, and structured to the specialized needs of the individual and their family than is currently available in Nursing Home facilities.
