Trying to locate my African American ancestor's records, burial sites, etc. Methodist minister, Rev. Bragg Dotson b. 1864, wife Nora Walker Dotson, his brother Dave was married in 1901 to Lizzie Baker in Chattahoochee County. Located them in the 1870, 1880 and other census rpts in Halloca/Militia districts in Chattahoochee Cty. Where is that in Cusseta??? Are there old maps of the old enumeration districts that will show me? Need info on white male Jerry Walker as well. White families that the Dodsons might have worked for in Ga. He was probably born between 1830-1847 in Ga. as well. Any assistance would be appreciated. I contacted a Miss LaVerne but have not heard from her yet.
