William C. OLIVER md Elsey Whittington 11 May 1828 in Pike Co. GA. 1850 Pike Co. GA census lists William C and Aisley with 8 children. Believe this to be Chapman Oliver and Emma Whittington parents of Sarah Alice Oliver b. 19 Nov 1850, from a family of 10 children. Four were Alice, Rebecca, Josie, and Jimmy (James). Alice md. James KP Shelton 5 Jan 1875 in Ellis Co. TX (had a son William C.) Alice was born in GA, but was in Alabama as well. She came to Texas at age 13 in 1863. Would like more information on this family.
